ATLANTIC BASIN SEASONAL HURRICANE FORECAST FOR 2005

On April 1st, 2005, Dr. William H. Gray, Colorado State University, put out his updated 2005 Atlantic Basin Hurricane Season Forecast. The number of named storms is forecast to be 13, the number of named storm days is forecast to be 65, the number of hurricanes is forecast to be 7, the number of hurricane days is forecast to be 35, the number of intense hurricane (Category 3 or higher) is forecast to be 3 and the number of intense hurricane days is forecast to be 7.

Dr. Gray and his team will be issuing 4 more seasonal updates:

Tuesday, May 31
Friday, August 5
Friday, September 2
Monday, October 3
