TROPICAL DEPRESSION NINE WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 12.7 NORTH...
LONGITUDE 34.5 WEST OR ABOUT 695 MILES...1115 KM...WEST OF THE
SOUTHERNMOST CAPE VERDE ISLANDS.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 12 MPH...19 KM/HR.
THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE DURING THE NEXT 24
